Pass Me Not… I Hope You Don’t, My Love!

Pass Me Not... By Benedict Chidiele

J
ust recently (today, September 27th, actually), I realized that poetry is suddenly becoming a dying art in this part of the world! Long gone are the days when we woo our love interest with the sweet words only good poetry can inspire. Dead are the days when sweet songs are spiced with poetic words and lyrics that it melts our hearts a thousand times over!

10 Keys to an Amazing and Successful Romantic Relationship

“And in her smile I see something more beautiful than the stars.”

-          Across the Universe by Beth Revis
V
ery often you find yourself in a romantic relationship with that special someone and then wonder how and what you need to do to spice up the flavour and drum up the beat? Truth is: everyone can have an amazing and successful romantic relationship with that special someone if they tried to do the little things well and with more love, tenderness and care. We often think it is the expensive dinners at Sheraton or Eko Hotels, the holiday vacation at Obudu Cattle Ranch or a romantic trip for two to Dubai that speaks “True Love”, but it is the little things you do or fail to do that tells your partner in no equivocal terms, how much you love them and truly care for them.

10 Reasons Women Stay with a Cheating and Abusive Man (Part 2)

“Now let's move on to the subject of how a real man treats his wife. A real man doesn't slap even a ten-dollar hooker around, if he's got any self respect, much less hurt his own woman. Much less ten times over the mother of his kids. A real man busts his ass to feed his family, fights for them if he has to, dies for them if he has to. And he treats his wife with respect every day of his life, treats her like a queen - the queen of the home she makes for their children.”   ― S.M Stirling, Dies the Fire

L

10 Ways You Lose Your Soul to the Devil

“We are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell.”
W
ell, not every day does the Devil take centre stage as the topic of discourse. Though we curse and rebuke him on per-second basis, but how well have we come to understand how he operates in entangling us in a fatal web of no spiritual return? We say we love God and will keep his will, but do we not know that by keeping certain actions and habits we open up ourselves to evil machinations, and make it impossible to completely serve God?

“If I treated you the way you treated me, then you would hate me.”
-          Sushan R. Sharma
O
ften times you come across a woman who is continually mentally tainted with the failings of a man who repeatedly and blatantly cheats on her and abuses her with little or no regard for her honour or dignity and the sanctity of her life, and yet she stays. She becomes a physical and emotional wreck, devoid of any meaningful esteem and sense of self-worth, and yet she stays. And then you wonder, “Could it be out of love?”

3 Amazing Workouts That Give You a Bigger Butt

“But he who dares not grasp the thorn, should never crave the rose.”
                                                                                                     - Anne Brontë

E
very woman out there craves a bigger butt as much as they desire to look beautiful and alluring. Most of them (especially, but not limited to, the African woman) equate being beautiful and attractive with a shapely figure, particularly where the hips and butt are concerned. The larger the ‘ukwu’, the sexier the look, it seems. It is like the Holy Grail of all things feminine and endowed African.

“Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.”
-          Buddha
W
hether it is in your personal or professional relationships, anger in interpersonal relationships can be a stubborn fire whose damage can be really very difficult to quench or put out. Anger can unleash such a terrible wave of destruction that it burns every good thing that once exist down to the very ashes with more destructive elements than the rage of a thousand spreading wild fire.
